Health and Healthcare in Scranton, PAPennsylvania law states that health insurance companies cannot impose a waiting period on pre-existing conditions that were diagnosed or treated six months prior to the start of a new health insurance policy if the individual was not without insurance for more than 63 days prior to the start of their new health insurance policy.
