In 2008, Rolla will become home to St. John’s Clinic. The three-story, 108,000 square foot clinic will be built off of Martin Spring Drive in Rolla, Missouri. The clinic will replace three smaller St. John’s clinics found in the area, and it will serve patients from the counties of Texas, Maries, Dent, Crawford, Phelps, and Pulaski. Students of the University of Missouri at Rolla are eligible to receive health care through Student Health Services. Student Health Services provides health education as well as non-emergency medical services to students actively enrolled in the university. However, they also urge students to carry private health insurance to cover services that are not available through the university.
