Blue Shield of California Plans for Individuals and Families

  • Access+HMO and Access+Value: These HMO plans offer low co-pay access to preventive care, such as office visits and immunizations. Many include vision and/or dental coverage, as well as optional maternity coverage.
  • Shield Spectrum PPO 500, 750, 1500, 2000, 5000: The choice of deductible levels allows members to choose their level of coverage and payment. These plans offer a fixed co-payment, and include preventive treatment, hospitalization, prescription drugs, pregnancy and chiropractic care.
  • Shield Spectrum PPO Savings Plans: These HSA-compatible plans contain high-deductible options for those who need to complement a savings account. Members can choose whether to include maternity coverage.
