Health Insurance Plans Available for Individuals and Families

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska offers a selection of Individual plans and services to over half a million consumers throughout the state. Their coverage options vary in deductible and premium costs, but all show the same dependable service. Plans offered include:

  • Blue Preferred, Value Plan PPO: A range of choices of deductibles allows members to choose the plan that is right for them. Included is hospitalization and emergency care. Some preventive services are available, but particularly with the Value Plan, some are not. A three-tier prescription drug plan is also included.
  • High-Deductible HSA-compatible: With this plan, meant to be used with a Health Savings Account, members choose from one of the Blue Preferred PPO coverage options and put their money into a tax-advantaged account.
