Atlantis Health Plan provides comprehensive health services for doctor office visits where co-payments are $10, $15, or $20, through POS and HMO options:

• Atlantis POS – the point of service option (POS) allows members to choose their own doctor or hospital, with no need for referrals.  This option provides more options, but may be more expensive than an HMO plan in out of pocket costs. Members should also choose a primary care provider for routine healthcare needs. 
• Atlantis HMO – a Health Maintenance Organization (HOM) provides members with affordable, pre-negotiated fees.  Members are responsible for selecting a primary care provider to coordinate their needs, including referrals to specialist if necessary.

Atlantis Health Plan members are offered a number of benefits, including:

• A close physician/patient relationship

• Comprehensive health care options including hospital and medical expenses
• Wellness options for preventive care and weight management
• Extensive choice of quality physicians, including a 24 hour, 7 day a week physician hotline
