Anthem BCBS Connecticut Coverage Options

Health insurance plans offered to residents of Connecticut include:

  • Blue Care Direct HMO: This HMO plan offers two deductibles, $1,500 and $3,000. They also boast low co-pays, prescription drug plans, maternity care, and an optional vision rider. There is no out-of-network coverage with this plan.
  • Century Preferred Direct 80/20 and 100 PPO: Four deductible levels are available with this PPO plan, which include a low co-insurance amount, optional vision and prescription drug coverage and preventive care for no after-deductible charge. Maternity care is not available with these plans.
  • Century Preferred Direct HSA: This high-deductible plan offers the same coverage as the Century Preferred Direct plan; however, it is meant to be utilized with a HSA plan.
